Safety Resources

Welcome to the BE Safety Page

BE supports the University's academic and research Mission. To successfully flourish in the BE we must create a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Safety is a shared and continuing responsibility that requires everybody’s participation.

BE welcomes your input and suggestions for making our college safe. If you wish to recommend additions to our safety web page, please email caupinfo@u.washington.edu and include any suggestions or links that you think will benefit your colleagues. This website is not meant to be exhaustive: it will become even more useful through BE participation!

Emergency Assembly Points

Evacuees should first report to the Primary emergency assembly point. Proceed to the Secondary emergency assembly point only if the primary location is not accessible or the Fire Safety Director or Floor Wardens direct you there. Wait at the emergency assembly points for additional instructions and the “all clear” to return to your building.
